What Sets Praxis Apart

Fees

At Praxis, we do not get paid for trying. We get paid for succeeding. There is no charge for listing your veterinary practice, appraising your veterinary practice, or our consultation. There is no charge for the contracts we provide or the time we expend. We earn our money at the time of sale.

Knowledge

Praxis can handle all of your veterinary practice transition needs. Our legal, financial, tax, valuation, and real estate knowledge allows us to completely understand a transition from all angles. For an advisor to have a true understanding of the total impact of a transition, he/she must be familiar with the impact of all these areas on both the buyer and the seller. Otherwise, the transition may solve one concern while creating many others.

Experience

Praxis is one of the country’s leading veterinary practice transition firms. For over 25 years, our advisors have been passionate about transforming lives by transitioning veterinary practices. We care for our client’s veterinary career as our own. We think and act like business partners, not academic advisors. We share our client’s aspirations, work to understand their reality, and align our incentives with their objectives. With our extensive knowledge, buyers and sellers can confidently gain expert advice with a simple call to their advisor. We will gladly bring that expertise to bare on your behalf.

Valuation & Pricing

There are many factors that affect the price and value of a veterinary practice. Our advisors use our expert methodology and decades of experience to guide clients through this crucial step. We work very hard to ensure pricing is fair to both buyers and sellers.

Marketing

Whether seeking buyers or sellers, we have the ability to blanket all desired areas with our advertising and marketing. Our multifaceted strategy touches every corner of the market.

Our marketing efforts include:
  • Active National Buyer Database
  • Direct Mail, Call, Email, & Fax Campaigns
  • National and Regional Journal Advertisements
  • Local and State Newsletters
  • Veterinarian Schools Across the Country
  • Booths at State, Regional, and National Meetings

Confidentiality

Praxis understands the importance of confidentiality. We require all prospective buyers to sign a confidentiality agreement prior to entering into any discussion regarding a veterinary practice opportunity. We always obtain this level of agreement from buyers and screen them prior to releasing sensitive practice information. We also hold buyer information in confidence by keeping their information confidential when seeking to purchase a practice.

Accessibility

A veterinary practice transition could be among the largest and most stressful commercial transactions in which you will ever be involved. You are either buying a veterinary practice that will provide for you and your family or selling a veterinary practice that has provided for you and your family. This is a time when accessibility to a knowledgeable and experienced advisor is critical.  The lack of such access can cause needless worry and sleepless nights. Having assisted professionals in practice transitions for over a quarter of a century, our advisors understand the need to be available to our clients. When you need us, we will be there.
